Mina Nabizada
Communication and Research Associate
Mina Nabizada began working with Dr. Ben-Meir in October 2011 shortly after graduating from the New School University with her Masters in International Affairs. During her graduate program, Mina focused on international health and development. Prior to joining Dr. Ben-Meir’s team, Mina interned at the United Nations Population Fund where she managed monitoring and evaluation projects. Mina also has a strong background in population policy research having interned for the Permanent Mission of Afghanistan to the United Nations. Her interests and background are in social development, poverty reduction and in the improvement of health and education for under-served constituencies.
Eda Tekeoglu
Communication and Research Associate
Eda Tekeoglu began working with Dr. Ben-Meir in September 2011. Eda graduated from New School University with her masters in International Affairs, where she focused on development and human rights. She has volunteered for the American Karachay-Kavkaz Benevolent Association for 6 years where she has focused on youth development. Eda previously interned at the United Nations, Turkish Consulate, and Clarkstown Town Council. She is personally invested in human rights, conflict and security in the Middle East.
